Phuentsholing police have detained two men for stealing a spare tyre and fuel from a parked vehicle in Phuentsholing on 30th January.
Police arrested both the suspects after receiving a complaint about a 31-year-old man from Trashigang stealing fuel from a vehicle parked near the new truck parking area.
The complainant also stated that a 28 years old man from Chapcha, was stealing a spare tyre from a parked truck and trying to sell it in Jaigaon. According to police, the 28 year old suspect confessed to have stolen one spare tyre, which the police returned to the owner.
The 31 year old suspect confessed to having stolen diesel from a truck and selling 60 litres in Jaigaon for Nu 24,000. Police seized one jerry can with 20 liters of diesel from the suspect and returned it to the owner.
