A 30 mn motorable bridge to be built at Lango

The government has allocated a budget of Nu 30 mn for the construction of a motorable bridge connecting the villages around the Kichu Lhakhang and the Tsenthang village in Lamgong after the earlier suspension bridge was washed away by the Pachhu a year ago. A proposal for a new bridge was put up to the dzongkhag by the gup but the gewog authorities had to conduct a series of meetings to settle on a suitable area for the new bridge. But some people of the gewog are reportedly not happy with the decision the gup and gewog administration regarding the location of the bridge, but the gup said that the decision was taken looking at the benefit of the majority of the people.
