Citizenship and Land Kidu in Gyalpoizhing

His Royal Highness Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji Wangchuck presented Kashos from His Majesty The King granting Land and Citizenship Kidu to the people.

His Majesty granted Citizenship Kidu to 93 individuals, and Land Kidu to 42 families from Mongar.

The recipients of the Citizenship Kidu took part in a ceremony to offer their Oath of Allegiance to the Tsa Wa Sum.

The recipients of the Land Kidu are from Gyalpoizhing and Menchugang in Mongar Dzongkhag.

His Royal Highness the Gyaltshab conveyed His Majesty’s messages on the duties of a Bhutanese Citizen to the Tsa Wa Sum, as well as effective ownership and use of land.

In 10 years of Reign, His Majesty has granted Land Kidu to 111,902 thram holders, and citizenship to 9,046 individuals.

His Royal Highness the Gyaltshab is His Majesty’s Representative in the east.
