The Druk Chirwang Tshogpa has introduced three more candidates and will announce the remaining candidates in the coming days.
Kinga Dorji – Bardo-Trong, Zhemgang has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology.
He has been running his cable network business in Zhemgang for over four years now.
“I am going to be the voice of the people in my constituency. I am going to prove myself by helping the people of Zhemgang prosper and have access to better living conditions. I will ensure that my constituency receives equal importance when it comes to development,” said the 31-year-old candidate.
Kinley Penjor – Goenkhamey, Lunana has a Bachelors Degree in Dzongkha Literature
Having spent most of his days after graduation in Gasa, 42-year-old Kinley Penjor said the only thing right to do now is to give back to the community, the country and the people. And the only way to do so, he said, is by joining politics.
“I have joined politics since I believe that it’s the right platform to contribute to the democratic process, which we received as a gift from our King. I realized that unless I play an active role in politics, one is just a spectator and can’t make a difference for the people at the grassroots level.”
Tej Bhadur Chhetri – Bongo-Chapcha, Chhukha has a Bachelors Degree in Commerce
“My aim is to serve my people and I would like to do it by joining hands with Druk Chirwang Tshogpa,” said the 28 year old.
