Trashiyangtse police have arrested a 63-year old farmer from Khamdang who allegedly hit his son-in-law with a knife around five in the morning on October 28.
Police arrested the suspect after receiving information from doctor Namsa Dorji of Khamdang Basic Health Unit (BHU) who stated that a 22-year old man from Radhi, Trashigang, was brought to the BHU with a cut on his left forearm.
The victim was referred to Eastern Regional Referral hospital in Mongar the next morning to “ensure 100 percent functionality as before” according to doctor Namsa Dorji.
According to police the suspect said that he hit his son in law with a knife after his son in law had hit him.
