Out of the six NC participants from Tsirang, Nima Wangdi won the election with 5,359 votes.
Nima Wangdi, 45, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and has served as a teacher for the past 15 years.
During the elections, he pledged to assess the constitutionally mandated national policies and endeavor to increase citizens’ access to high-quality healthcare and education.
He intends to create and amend laws that assist women and the elderly.
Nima also pledged to study, improve, and reinforce the current agricultural and farming policies as well as to start a district-wide agriculture festival.
Nima Wangdi thinks he won because of the numerous ways he has helped others, particularly through community programs. He acknowledges his family and supporters as a result.
Nima Wangdi wants to serve the country and the people with the utmost devotion and loyalty in accordance with his promises.
