Developmental activities almost complete in the Gewog
Five kilometers of Rural water supply scheme (RWSS) from Bjacho to Tashigatshel has been completed in the Gewog with a budget of Nu. 700,000.
Ten kilometers of farm road in Bjacho, Wangkha, Tashigatshel and Tsimakha has been completed with the budget of Nu 1.5 mn.
The gewog’s administrative office and the community primary school is still under the construction with a budget of Nu 2 mn.

Villagers to get conference hall to conduct constituency related meetings
About three chiwogs in Thrimshing gewog under Trashigang dzongkhag is being provided with the conference halls to convene chiwog related meetings.
The gewog has proposed to build a conference hall for Thrimshing, Tshangpo and Beldungma chiwogs last year.
According to Thrimshing Gup Ngawang Dorji with numerous developmental activities happening in the gewog the major one is the construction of a conference hall.
He said that people of Thrimshing gewog did not have proper place to convene any meetings till now.
He added that with the completion of halls the people would have a proper place to gather for the meetings that the gewog conducts frequently.
The gewog budget was used for the purchase of construction materials and the community labor was provided to complete the halls in scheduled time.
Thrimshing gewog has over 588 households and people residing under the gewog have farm roads and electricity.

Despite Climate Change Gomdar Gewog Improves Water Facilities
With climate change and drying spring sources, Gomdar gewog has been facing water shortages frequently.
The gewog Gup Lungten Wangdi said that most of the water sources, which was used for a long time are now drying.
Therefore for the 11th Five Year Plan Gomdar had planned to construct eight additional water sources for the gewog.
However, the Gewog Gup said in 2012 they have maintained and constructed four water sources. The budget allotted for this developmental activity was around Nu 1.6 mn.
More than 17 households from the villages like Denchi, Kidung khar and Brumi got their water sources fixed.
Apart from water source maintenance, the Gewog Gup said that recently they have constructed 11 km farm road from Tsangchilu to Barza.
“It is the extension of the farm road from the gewog to Tsangchilu community,” he said.

Boomdeling busy with developmental activities
The gewog has almost completed all the developmental activities for this financial year and currently it is undertaking two activities which are maintenance of Rural Water Supply Scheme (RWSS) and road widening work.
The road widening work is underway at Dungzam -Pamadung and as of now almost 50% of the work has been completed.
As for RWSS, six schemes of RWSS are undergoing maintenance works at five different places such as Gangadung, Tashiling, Pamadung, Chikar and Sep and the budget allocated is about Nu 300,000. Around 70% of the work has been completed.
These two works fall under developmental activities for the last financial year of the tenth five year plan. Apart from developmental activities, some of the activities which are not reflected in the tenth year plan are also underway.
These works include electrification work in Goenpa where only 10% of the work has been completed and construction of bridges.
The two bridges are called Lao Bridge and Tabli Bridge which will be benefit the people in general.
The total budget allocated for the bridges is around 3 mn and as of now 40% of the work is completed.
The gewog has got 365 households.
