The Bhutanese Leading the way.
Football is the most popular sport in the country. An abridged and much faster version of the game, called Futsal is now gaining popularity, especially among the younger men and women. Faster, and with more goals per game, every year more than fifty teams participate in this competition.
The CARE 2013 is coming up with a Futsal Championship which will start from 1 to 17 February 2013.
The event will be organized by Woezer events management in collaboration with the Bhutan Football Federation. The entry fee will be Nu 5,000 with security deposit Nu 1,500 which will be refundable.
There are 35 teams expected for the tournament with an audience of 3,000 to 4,000 people. The winners will be getting a cash prize of Nu 30,000 and runners up a cash prize of Nu 10,000.
Individual Trophies and certificates will also be provided.
