Gewog short of Nu 0.3mn for renovation and maintenance of farm road

Tangsibji  gewog, under Trongsa Dzongkhag is still short of Nu 0.3mn for the renovation and maintenance of Nyala Drangla farm road. The work has been in effect since November 2011.  Gup, Jigme Namgyal Tangbi said 50% of the works has been completed.The gewog had a budget of Nu 0.6mn for the maintenance of the seven- kilometer road which was not enough to complete the work so the gewog quoted Nu 0.9mn during the bidding process. The Gewog representatives promised to pay the contractor the remaining amount in 2013.They are planning to compensate the required amount from the gewog budget they get from the 11th Five Year Plan.No villagers are involved in the work except for Chiwog Tshogpa, who monitors the work to meet the completion dateline in April, 2012.
