HRH Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, accompanied by Ashi Yeatso Lhamo, graced the 3rd day of the annual Tshecu at Yoesel Dho-nga Chholing, community Lhakhang, at Saling under Saling Gewog, Mongar on 23rd March 2015. The Tshechu program included Dzongkha dances by local people, mask dances by monks, consecration of new Thongdroel and offering of Tshogchhang & Buelwa to HRH the Gyaltshab by the local people. HRH offered prayers in the Lhakhang for the wellbeing of His Majesty the King, His Majesty the 4th King, the country and all sentient beings.
On behalf of His Majesty the King, HRH granted one Thongdroel of Guru Rinpoche to the Lhakhang which never had one before. The Thongdroel was consecrated and displayed for the public blessing on the auspicious occasion. On the sideline, HRH visited a house near the Lhakhang and inspected the living condition of the household. HRH also granted an audience to more than 200 local people who had come to attend the Tshechu.
