His Majesty graced the Kuchoe held annually at Trakar Nagtshang in Chumey, Bumthang, and granted Tokha to the gathering who had congregated from neighbouring valleys for the special event.
His Majesty also granted a Thongdrol of Thuksey Dawa Gyaltshen to the Nagtshang for the community. Thuksey Dawa Gyaltshen, who is one of Terton Pema Lingpa’s sons, established the Nagtshang and the Trakar Zhelgno lineage. The Trakar Kuchoe was celebrated with various dances of the Peling tradition.
Earlier in the morning, His Majesty offered prayers at the Jambay Lhakhang, where the annual Jambay Lhakhang Drup is ongoing.
