Aum Kinzang Choden, a 60 year old shopkeeper from Trashigang Throm returned a purse containing Nu. 221,055 in cash, that she found near the Manidungkhor in the heart of Trashigang town, on 2 May 2019 to Trashigang Police.
The purse and its contents were handed over to the rightful owner, Thukten Tshering, a 63 year old man from Bumdeling, Trashiyangtse. Thukten Tshering is a farmer and a craftsman dealing in wooden cups and bowls.
The RBP on it facebook page commended Aum Kinzang Choden for her honesty and exemplary action and urged members of the public to continue to hand in items of lost properties.
