Reference report captioned ‘Very positive, on India-Bhutan relations’ in The Bhutanese of January 19, 2013. The Section ‘on Bhutan expanding its diplomatic ties’ gives the impression that the interviewer asked the Ambassador for his views on the Rio meeting  and  establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Bhutan.

This was not the case. In response to the question, ‘Bhutan has been rapidly expanding its diplomatic ties with many countries. What is your view?’ Ambassador responded ‘its Bhutan’s choice, its Bhutan’s sovereign decision, so I do not think there is necessity for me to comment’.
