New replaces old in Wangdue

Tashi Dorji was elected as the National Council rep with his 5,848 votes secured by 5,426 Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) votes and 422 postal ballot votes (PB).

The incumbent NC member Sonam Yangchen managed 3,540 votes with 3,156 EVM votes and 384 postal ballot votes while Chado Namgyal with 629 EVM votes and 94 postal ballot votes got 723 total votes.
