Thimphu police on 14th March arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the burglary of two apartments on the same day.
The telephone complaint was lodged by one teacher stating that the latch to her door was broken and the door was locked from inside.
The police team arrested the suspect from inside who was in the process of robbing the place.
Police seized from the suspect a mix of Singaporean dollars, Australian dollars, Thai Bathe, Pounds and few Ngultrums. The suspect confessed to have burgled another apartment on the same day from where he stole a few dollars, 5000 Indian Rupees and a Sony camera with a charger.
