People living on government land does not get water supply

Around 13 villages under Langthel gewog will be getting safe drinking water by May. People started working on the water supply since August 2011 but all the households in these villages were not given the facility. Those who have their houses built on their own lands could avail the water supply while those who have occupied government lands were ineligible to get the water supply.Households settled in the wet lands were also not provided drinking water.The work is categorized into two types; renovation for which a budget of Nu 1.2 mn is allocated and providing water to households with no water supply in the past, the works of which amount to Nu 0.8mn.
