Three-day walk to Naro shortened by building of two new bridges

Naro community  will not have to cross Thimpchhu  now as it will  get two new wooden bridges by the end of May. A budget of Nu 0.2 mn and 1.3 mn respectively have been allocated for them in the 10th Five Year Plan.With two bridges; Shau Lumey zam and Nenseyphu zam under construction, the three-day walk to Naro will be shortened to only a one-day  hike.According to Naro Gup, Wangchuk, earlier it was difficult to bring materials especially iron from the capital city. At the moment villagers are collectively  working on building the bridges.
