The gewog also stated that planned development works in the gewog by the Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) in its term had good outcomes except for the electricity shortage.
There are a total of 1,330 households in the gewog, and each household suffers because of electricity-related problems.
Gup Chandra Prasad Phuyel said, as per the plan, works by the Bhutan Power Corporation went well, but the servicing of the work was not good and this has affect the people in the gewog.
“During summer season, we don’t receive electricity for more than 10 to 15 days, and under these situations students suffer a lot. At the same time, some officials who work on computers are also disturbed,” said the Gup.
