26 year old Kezang Wangmo is DPT’s North-Thimphu hope

The Druk Phuensum Tshogpa (DPT) introduced Kezang Wangmo as its new Candidate for the North Thimphu Constituency.

“It gives us immense joy and pleasure to introduce Ms. Kezang Wangmo as our new Candidate for the North Thimphu Constituency,” said the party in a release.

Ms. Kezang Wangmo has a Bachelors Degree in English and EVS from Royal Thimphu College. After graduating in 2013, she worked in one of the private firms.

The party said that as it welcomed her into their midst, ‘the whole DPT family is overjoyed and uplifted by her enthusiasm and firm determination to serve the Tsa Wa sum with unwavering loyalty and dedication.’

Like in the case of its previous candidate choice the party did not entertain any questions or question and answer sessions with its new candidate.

The previous candidate Chencho Nidup withdrew citing personal reasons while the sitting DPT candidate Kinga Tshering resigned on ground that he had to do a course in Harvard University.
