9th thimphu Career fair in town

Bhutan’s largest and oldest Education Exhibition the 9TH Career Fair, is set to take place in the city of Thimphu on the 14th & 15th February 2015 at Clock Tower, Thimphu.

The event is organized by Nukareer Education Consultancy a major educational consultant in collaboration with SAPE event organizer and approved by Department of Adult and Higher Education, Ministry of Education.

The education extravaganza features over 40 leading Indian institutions at the event. This two day event will provide aspirants a single gateway to many academic and professional courses available in India in various conventional and non-conventional streams.

Thimphu career fair has been a pioneering education fair of Bhutan focusing on education in India. In the last nine years the Thimphu career fair has presented unique opportunities for students of Bhutan to directly meet with colleges from all over India and enable them to help shape their career choices.

According to a release India’s major Institutes from 20 Indian states will be participating in this fair.

Unlike in the past where students knew only about careers like medicine, engineering today more and more career options are available in variety of specialized fields according to the fair organizers.

The event will present students an opportunity to explore and evaluate a wide spectrum of courses ranging from academic to professional and vocational courses including Advertising, Animation, Bio Technology, Computer Training, Engineering, Fashion Designing, Film Technology, Finance, Graphic Designing, Hospitality and Travel, Information Technology, Insurance, Interior Designing, Law, Management, Mass Communication, Medicine, Research, Sales, Vocational Courses and many more.

The exhibition will offer a wide selection of courses ranging from graduation, post graduation, vocational and part-time courses.

The release from the fair organizers said that for many students, a visit to the Education Fair will mark a new phase in their life.

“This is where they made their decisions not only on the choice of their program, but also the education institutions to help them build their future. For others, Education Fair is a place for them to gather information to help them make an informed choice for their educational needs,” said the release.

The organizers said that students can also gain information on education expenses that are an important requirement to fund the growing expense in education. The students can also use this platform to avail scholarships and on the spot admissions.
