The Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry is organizing the 3rd Bhutan International Education Fair (BIEF) from 9-10 March 2013 at Changlimithang, Thimphu. SAPE Events & Media Pvt.Ltd. and AFAIRS Exhibition & Media Pvt.Ltd. from Kolkata are the event partners.
This International Education fair is an annual event of the BCCI focused towards:
Creating a platform for parents and students to meet and interact with universities/Colleges/Institutions so that an informed and latest choice of courses are availed
Creating a Business to Business avenue for participating institutions with the local education consultancy firms
To showcase Bhutan as a potential education hub and offer insight information on the investment opportunities in the planned Education City project to the participating institutions and encourage people to people interaction.
This year there are 110 Universities/institutions participating from Australia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Thailand, India and Bhutan.
The 3rd BIEF will be inaugurated by Dasho Pema Thinlay, Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan on 9th March 2013.
