His Majesty The King arrived in Thimphu on 14 March after having concluded a weeklong tour of the South.
His Majesty travelled to Gelephu and Samdrup Jongkhar, and visited Gyalsung Academy sites, various ongoing De-suung Water Projects and De-suung Skilling Programme centers, and the Jigme Namgyel Engineering College in Dewathang. His Majesty also met with Dzongkhag and regional sector heads and private sector representatives.
Yesterday, His Majesty The King visited the Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Royal Tour began on March 8 in Gelephu, where His Majesty met with De-suups undergoing the 56th batch De-suung training, which is also a pilot BMT Training, intended to be used for Gyalsung.
