His Majesty The King offered prayers at Punakha Dzong on the occasion of Zhabdrung Kuchoe on 7 May 2025.

Zhabdrung Kuchoe marks the anniversary of the passing of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel, the founder of the Bhutanese State. Punakha Dzong was the principal seat of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyel.
