Lyonchhen inaugurates new Dungkhag office

Dasho Tshering Tobgay, Prime Minister joined the people of four gewogs – Shershong, Chuzergang, Umling and Tareythang gewogs for the consecration of Dungkhag Office in Umling, Sarpang Dzongkhag this afternoon.

Speaking to the gathering, Dasho said that the Dungkhag office will bring about development in and around these four gewogs. “All the fields are cultivated, I saw electric fencesbeing put to good use and I hope there will be more production in the coming years,” Dasho added.

The Dungkhag office was a pledge of the current government.
