Strengthening sport and youth related programs

His Royal Highness Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, Representative of His Majesty the King, President of the Bhutan Olympic Committee and the Director of Board of the Tarayana Foundation met with chairman of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Mansour Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, at the Changlinemethang Stadium on April 15.

There were discussions on the initiatives for cooperating in the field of sports and youth related programs. The high-level delegation from Kuwait will be in the country until April 19.

The delegation also met with Prime Minister of Bhutan, Lyonchhen Tshering Tobgay and Education Minister, Lyonpo Mingbo Drukpa to enhance relationship between the youth of Kuwait and Bhutan and explore other areas of mutual interest.

Kuwait and Bhutan has established diplomatic relations since 1983.
