A new village lam to be apppointed

Coinciding with the auspicious Zhabdrung Kuchoe, people of Tangsibji gewog will be consecrating a lam’s residence at Kela village.

The newly appointed lam will benefit 45 households of the village.

Kinley, the Lam, appointed from the Trongsa Dratshang will be paid by the Dratshang. There are plans to keep with the village lam as well. According to the Gup, Jigme Namgyal Tangbi, a Tshechu was recently  sponsored collectively by the shopkeepers and the nearby residents of the village at the Tashiling Shedra.
