Bumthang brings in the new, lets go the old

Nima in Bumthang secured the highest votes to become the National Council (NC) representative from among the three contestants which included the incumbent Tshewang Jurmey.

He received 2,264 votes overall including the 1,936 EVM votes and 328 postal ballot votes.

Sonam Tenzin received 971 votes in overall (928 votes in the EVM and 43 votes in the postal ballot). Thirdly, Rinchen Phuntsho got 951 votes in overall (903 votes in the EVM and 48 in the postal ballot).

Tshewang Jurmey the incumbent managed 491 votes in overall (424 votes in the EVM and 67 votes in the postal ballot).
