His Holiness the Je Khenpo, along with Their Eminences the Lop Lhengay and Drubpoens, and the Lam Naytens of the Rabdey Dratshangs, presided over the Sri-Non (ritual for suppressing negative forces) at the designated sites in Gelephu where the 108 Jangchub Chortens are to be erected.
His Holiness the Je Khenpo performed the Si-Nyon ritual for Chortens Nos. 1–3, while His Eminence the Dorji Lopen performed the ritual for Chorten No. 108. The remaining chortens were attended to by the Lop Lhengay, Drubpoens and Lam Naytens, invoking blessings to suppress negative forces and eliminate harmful obstacles to the successful establishment of the 108 Jangchub Chortens.
