His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen concluded the Royal Tour of villages across Chhukha Dzongkhag with a visit to the Dokhachoe Gonpa in Chapcha on Thursday.
His Majesty offered prayers for the continued wellbeing of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, and for eternal peace and prosperity of the people of Bhutan.
His Majesty then met with the people of Chapcha, Gangkhar and Shamaka, and granted Tokha to the people.
Their Majesties arrived in Chapcha on Wednesday, after having met the people of Bunagu.
On last Sunday, His Majesty granted an Audience to the participants of the Bhutan Executive Services Training at RIGSS in Phuentsholing.
His Majesty celebrated Dashain on the 22nd with the people in Lokchina gewog, and visited Pachu the next day. On 21st, His Majesty visited Sampheling.
Their Majesties graced the Chhukha Tshechu on the 20th.
The Royal Tour commenced from Chhukha Dzong, where on 15th October, His Majesty granted Land Kidu to the people of the dzongkhag, and granted Audiences to civil servants, corporate employees and local leaders.
His Majesty then visited Lobneykha, Darla, Meritsemo and Bongo.
During the 12-day Royal Tour, His Majesty met extensively with the people, addressing them and discussing various national issues over public meetings, where entire gewogs were granted Tokha, and visiting people individually in their homes across the villages.
His Majesty also granted Audience to students of schools in the villages, and visited Pakshikha Central School to meet with the students and teachers there.
Their Majesties arrived in Thimphu on Thursday.
