His Majesty on an official trip to Delhi

His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen are in Delhi on a two-day official visit to India starting 5th December.

His Majesty The King met with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at his official residence in Lok Kalyan Marg, Delhi, on the morning of 5th December.

The Prime Minister hosted a luncheon in honour of Their Majesties.

Upon arriving in Delhi earlier in the day, Their Majesties were received at the airport by India’s External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar.

In the afternoon, Dr. Jaishankar and India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval called on His Majesty The King. The visit reflects the regular high-level exchanges between Bhutan and India, and serves to further strengthen the exceptional friendship and cooperation shared by the two nations.
