His Majesty The King visited the Gyalsung Academies in Khotokha, Wangduephodrang and Jamtsholing, Samtse on 18 November and granted Audience to the Gyalsups of the inaugural batch of Gyalsung, Bhutan’s National Service.
Earlier on 16 November His Majesty The King visited Gyalsung Academies in Gyalpozhing, Mongar and Pemathang, Samdrup Jongkhar today, and met with the Gyalsups undergoing the training at these two Academies. The inaugural Gyalsung Training Programme began on 5th September, and will conclude on December 3. It is being held concurrently at Gyalpozhing, Pemathang, Jamtsholing in Samtse, and Khotokha in Wangduephodrang.
The historic first cohort of Gyalsups are pioneers of a transformative journey for the nation, paving the way for generations to come as Bhutan establishes National Service.
