Woman arrested with drugs

Following a tip-off Phuentsholing police arrested a woman at Rinchendeng check post on 31 January with 5,341 capsules of SP and 200 tablets of N10.

The woman was travelling to Thimphu in a taxi when she was arrested at the checkpost, four kilometres from Phuentsholing. She told police that she purchased the prescription drugs from Baw Bazaar in the border Indian town of Jaigaon paying Nu 21,000.
