Project Dantak signs MoU with Bhutan Industrial Gas for LPG supply

Project Dantak, a key initiative of India’s Border Roads Organization (BRO), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bhutan Industrial Gas (BIG) to secure the supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for infrastructure projects in Bhutan.

The agreement, signed at Dantak Headquarters by Chief Engineer of Project Dantak, Brigadier Rohit Gupta, and CEO of Bhutan Industrial Gas, Singhey Gyamtsho, will ensure the use of commercial LPG for road marking and painting tasks.

Project Dantak, established in 1961, has been instrumental in constructing and maintaining roads and bridges across Bhutan. The organization plays a critical role in connecting remote regions to essential services, fostering trade, and supporting tourism.

This collaboration aligns with Project Dantak’s efforts to work with local businesses, contributing to Bhutan’s industrial growth and economic development. By partnering with Bhutanese firms like BIG, the initiative aims to promote local industries, generate employment, and support the country’s self-sufficiency goals.
