Pujrang of His Eminence Dungse Thrinley Norbu Rinpoche

Paro His Eminence Dungse Thrinley Norbu Rinpoche’s pujrang was conducted on March 3 at the Dago phug Goenpa, Lango, Paro. The ceremonies which started at around four in the morning and lasted till afternoon was attended by members of the royal family, the cabinet including the prime minister and around 15,000 devotee from Bhutan and outside. Dudjom Rinpoche’s reincarnation Sangay Pema Rinpoche led the last rites. Monks and throema practitioners from Bartsham Sangdak Gaypailing Gomde led by Bartsham Lama Yangse Kuenzang Gatshel, Yongphula Ugyen Dongdak Chokorling Gomde led by lama Jigme Tenzin, Dewathang Shedra and foreign disciples the rituals. “It’s very sad to have lost him but we are equally happy when we think of his contributions for all sentient beings,” said Tshering Dorji of Dewathang Shedra.
