On behalf of Druk Phuensum Tshogpa and its members, I wish to thank all the people who placed their trust and confidence in us and have supported us during the last two elections.

We will now be in opposition and it is a new opportunity that our party has gained. The party shall endeavour to prove itself worthy of this important role and contribute to the greater good of the King, country and people.

Druk Phuensum Tshogpa offers its heartfelt Tashi Delek to the President and the People’s Democratic Party for having won the mandate of the people to form the second democratically elected government. We look forward to working with them in parliament.

It will be an honour for me and my colleagues to serve our King, country and people working with the second government and opposition party of our democracy. Let us work together to further strengthen the security of our country, improve the well-being of our people and cultivate the goodwill and trust of our neighbors and friends! May all things be auspicious under the leadership of His Majesty the King!
