During a routine checking, Police at the Tanalum check point arrested a man on March 7, after he was found with contrabands.
Police had recovered 1,425 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon (SP), two bottles of cough syrup, 199 tablets of Nitrosun 10, and eight packets of cigarettes (Flake) which were concealed in a black plastic.
The suspect also tested positive for the drugs.
In a statement to police, the suspect had mentioned that the substances were for personal consumption.
