Druk Holding and Investments (DHI) is implementing the RISE initiative to strengthen its business operations and support sustainable growth across the organization. The initiative focuses on seven key objectives, including simplifying and standardizing business processes, enhancing processes to make them future ready, and driving digital transformation. It also aims to improve operational efficiency and create greater business growth and value. RISE further focuses on increasing agility and innovation while ensuring compliance and security.
The initiative is intended to help DHI improve the way it operates, adopt new technologies and strengthen its businesses to respond more effectively to changing economic and market conditions.
SAP Ariba has gone live at DHI and Construction Development Corporation Limited (CDCL), marking a significant step in the Group’s digital transformation journey. The Go-Live of the eProcurement system brings DHI and CDCL onto a shared platform for the first time, creating a unified system for managing procurement processes.
From 12th to 14th August 2026, DHI conducted a three-day Data Readiness Workshop for Dungsam Cement Corporation Limited (DCCL) and Dungsam Polymers Limited (DPL) under the RISE with SAP Project. The workshop focused on data preparation, cleansing, validation, ownership and migration requirements to support a smooth transition to the new SAP system.
On 1st July 2026, Bhutan Power Corporation Limited (BPC) marked its Foundation Day with the official Go-Live of its new SAP RISE cloud system, successfully migrating its core operations from the legacy SAP ECC system.
Druk Green Power Corporation Limited (DGPC) and its subsidiaries also went live with the RISE with SAP system on 2nd June 2026. The transition marks a significant step in DGPC’s digital transformation, with the system aimed at improving operational efficiency, data integration and enterprise-wide process management.
Drukair successfully went live with RISE with SAP on 30th December 2025, marking a major milestone in its digital transformation journey. The platform integrates key airline functions, including finance, procurement, inventory, aircraft materials, maintenance related costs and asset management. The system is expected to improve cost visibility, streamline operations, strengthen control over critical aviation supplies and support timely, data driven decision making.
DHI also achieved the Go-Live of its RISE with SAP implementation on 23rd December 2025. SAP platform aims to strengthen operational efficiency, governance and data driven decision making across the DHI Group.
