Heli Bhutan to start services in February 2025

Bhutan’s first private helicopter services Heli Bhutan accepted its new helicopter on 19th December 2024 at Airbus delivery Center Marignane, France. This acceptance signifies the handover of the helicopter to Heli Bhutan.

The aircraft is due to arrive Bhutan by the 3rd week of January and official operations will commence coinciding with His Majesty’s Birthday on 21st February in 2025.

A Heli Bhutan representative said they aspire to boost the tourism sector by adding an option to the clients and to further strengthen the vision of His Majesty and support in the foundation of the Gelephu Mindfulness Center.

Heli Bhutan is also a FDI venture and the company says it aspires to set an exemplary precedent for major FDI s in the future.

Heli Bhutan also has ambitions to start up fixed wing operations in the future to enhance transport in GMC and the rest of Bhutan.

The company said they have skilled pilots employed with Heli Bhutan and they are always ready for situations like Covid 19 or others to provide service.
