Bolero thief in Phuentsholing still at large

As of August 31, Phuentsholing police were still looking for a suspect who stole a single cabin Bolero camper vehicle, parked by the road near the RICBL housing colony in Phuentsholing town.

A 40-year-old driver from Lhuentse lodged a police complaint on 27 August that his bolero was missing when he returned from lunch.

He said he had parked his vehicle near the housing colony and gone to brother’s place for a lunch. When he returned at around 14:00 his Bolero was missing.

Police said police personnel at the Phuentsholing main gate were alerted who requested their counterparts in West Bengal and Assam for help.

CCTV footage at the SSB transit camp in Jaigaon, indicated that the missing Bolero had not crossed from the main gate to Jaigaon between 11:00 hrs – 14:00 hrs on 27 August.
