His Majesty The King conferred the DeSuung Gold Pin, Bhutan’s highest award for voluntary service, on Dato Adam Htoon on 23 April in recognition of his exceptional support to Bhutan’s Medical Relief Team in Myanmar following the 28 March 2025 earthquake.
Dato Adam Htoon’s timely and compassionate assistance enabled the 87-member Bhutanese team to operate effectively in a disaster zone, delivering critical medical aid to those in need.
The award honours his outstanding service and his contribution to strengthening the friendship between Bhutan and Myanmar.
His Majesty The King also granted an Audience to the Bhutan Medical Relief Team.
